The busy city - about life in the station town of Bramming before the world went down

Distance: 15.85 Km

Experience Bramming's earliest history around the turn of the last century through objects and a long series of photographer CK Olesen's fine pictures of big and small in the city.

The museum has been in the collection to focus on the many crafts and professions that existed in the station town of Bramming in the first half of the 1900th century.

Everyone can explore the history of the city. It is tools, appliances and other items from the magazine that tell about the city's busy life and many professions.

The home butcher, shoemaker and car mechanic are involved, and the exhibition also shows things from the watchmaker, pharmacist, barber and many others.

The lifeblood of the city was the station, which was also the city's largest workplace. Therefore, of course, it is also included.

The exhibition also tells about Hotel Kikkenborg. It was here that the city's cultural life unfolded with lots of theater performances and lectures - this can be seen on the collection's many posters.

There were lots of children in Bramming, as in all the new towns of the time, and therefore the exhibition of course also shows traces of the town's schools.
