The Iron Age plots in Sjelborg Plantage - Esbjerg

The Iron Age plots in Sjelborg Plantage at Esbjerg - Sjelborg settlement. In 1956-57, Esbjerg Museum excavated protected house plots from the older Roman Iron Age (around the year 0).

The house plots that were set aside are only part of a much larger village, which has been identified in the fields to the south and west of the now set aside house plots.

Location
From Myrtuevej turn onto Bopladsvej.
After 50 meters there is a parking space. Continue along Bopladsvej until there is a signpost.
Iron Age are empty. If you park at the parking lot on Bopladsvej, there are approx. 700 meters to walk.
