Vognsbølparken - recreational park in Esbjerg

Vognsbølparken in Esbjerg is a large recreational park with 178 hectares of varied forest, park and nature in the middle of the city, and a well-developed path network. 

It is a pleasure to walk through the open deciduous forest, play on the playground, walk along the small lakes and look at the zoo on the way up to the natural forest. There are mowed lawns for ball games or sunbathing. Large areas of meadow are grazed by Scottish Highland cattle, and the birds can be studied from the bird tower.

Facilities
Playgrounds, ball courts, common areas, zoo deer zoo, circus area, tables / benches and toilets.

Handicap friendly
There are stairwells instead of stairs and there is a disabled toilet.

In the summer, the park is the setting for the West Coast race, open-air concerts, circus, theater and May 1 parade.
