Excursion destination

The Fisheries and Maritime Museum is one of Denmark's most visited attractions. Experience, among other things feeding seals or experience life on a drilling platform. At the beach close to the Fisheries and Maritime Museum you will also find Svend Wiig Hansen's sculpture group "Man by the Sea", which has become Esbjerg's landmark. The nine meter tall white men look out over the busy entrance and the island of Fanø. The ferry to Fanø is not far from the hotel - and here there are plenty of opportunities for nature experiences and a real island atmosphere. Esbjerg has its own airport and the Swimming Stadium Denmark is always full of activities for both children and adults. For those interested in art, Esbjerg Museum's changing and permanent exhibitions are an enriching experience.
