Visit the Tarp Bunker Museum, where you will find, among other things, bunker 75665 - a regulation building 622, which is a personnel bunker intended for 2x10 men.

The bunker was cast in 1943 and was in use during the Second World War and functioned as a guard bunker for part of the area of the German airfield in Esbjerg. The bunker belongs to Støttepunkt Esbjerg Airport. The soldiers could live in the bunker and use it as a shelter in case of enemy aerial bombardment and artillery fire.

Set aside 1 hour for a visit where you will be told about the functions of the bunker and the German airfield.

After 8 years of renovation, the bunker stands as it looked and was furnished during service in 1943 and has lots of original effects from the German airfield

The bunker was constructed and placed in the terrain by the German fortress pioneers. The building process was organized by OT (the German construction organization), but the construction itself was carried out by Danish contractors and Danish workers.
